Recommended Websites Removing Stickers on your Car When you buy a used car you would probably encounter problems, on of which is the sticker on the windows or on the body of the car. How will you remove those stickers without leaving a scratch on the car or damaging the paint of the car? Here are some tips in removing car stickers. With constant exposure to sunlight and rain, this sticker would be brittle and easy to peel off. But time and the ravages of ultraviolet rays from exposure to lots of sunlight will dry out the adhesive and make the film too brittle to peel. With the use of lubricant, spray the lubricant on the sticker and try to peel off the sticker. If the sticker is too stubborn and won’t peel off, soften the adhesive using a blow dryer. Then, using a spatula or a putty knife, start to peel the corner of the sticker by gently scraping it while continuously applying the heat on the sticker. You may need to apply more heat for the stubborn areas. As much as possible, do not use razor blade because it can scratch the paint of the car. Wipe the remains of the sticker away with a soft, lint-free rag dampened with rubbing alcohol. Automotive
